About the role

  • Help identify, plan for, and execute on future opportunities for growth and operational improvement across TDP portfolio companies
  • Enhance select TDP processes by creating, sharing, and maintaining operational standards

Responsibilities

  • The Strategy & Operations Associate will work directly with the Managing Director of Strategy & Operations to plan, support, and direct all activities that the team is involved in.
  • Work directly with Managing Director of Strategy & Operations and other team members to support key portfolio company initiatives, administrative activities, and to engage with leaders within TDP and across portfolio companies
  • Support ongoing CEO and Board projects within existing TDP portfolio companies
  • Drive performance improvement within portfolio companies via analytical, technological, or operational upgrades
  • Support broader Resource Partner team on key data and analytics activities

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 2.
  • 5 years of experience in strategy and/or operations consulting
  • High degree of integrity and strong moral compass
  • Ability to represent TDP and its portfolio companies well
  • Highly detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to efficiently handle a variety of confidential information
  • Located in (or ability to re-locate to) the greater Chicago area
  • This role requires a blend of strategic work, operational expertise, analytical acumen, and the ability to work effectively across teams.
