Responsibilities
- Lead the intake, prioritization, and execution of pharmacy-related informatics initiatives
- Translate clinical and operational needs into Epic build requirements, including BPAs, order sets, and workflow enhancements
- Partner with IT/Epic teams to support design, build, testing (UAT), and optimization of clinical decision support tools
- Business Requirements & Workflow Design
- Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), workflow diagrams, and use cases for pharmacy initiatives
- Collaborate with analytics teams to build cohort logic using EHR, claims, and pharmacy data sources
- Clinical Informatics & Decision Support
- Support documentation standardization across all pharmacy projects
- Define, validate, and maintain targeted patient cohorts for clinical programs (e.g., specialty pharmacy, high-cost therapies, adherence risk)
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs), workflows, functional specifications, and project documentation to support pharmacy clinical, operational, and financial initiatives.
Requirements
- 340B certification required or completion within first 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Nice to have
- Pharm D required
- Advanced degree preferred
