About the role

  • We also complete the contract (Service Agreement) between the client and Fidelity.
  • During this process, the PC may need to negotiate the contract language.
  • Review plan provisions as well as Fidelity services with employers (and consultants or attorneys, if they have one) to facilitate the selection of plan features.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate within the department and to appropriate business partners project progress, issues, and accomplishments.
  • Review and negotiate document exceptions to the Fidelity Pre-Approved Plan Document.
  • Sign documents on behalf of FMTC and Fidelity Workplace Services.

Requirements

  • The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Strong contract negotiation skills: ability to articulate a point of view in a compelling and succinct manner
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time, applying proper time management skills and using good judgment to figure out the order of task completion
  • Strong understanding of ERISA and regulatory issues especially related to 401(k)/403(b) plans.

Nice to have

  • College Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • CPA, CEBS, ERPA or ASPPA designation(s), a plus.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and client management abilities
  • Possess the ability to apply learning and comprehend and explain technical concepts

  • Application knowledge: Microsoft Office, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Plan Central, XTRAC

  • Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
  • Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles.
  • Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less.
  • Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
