Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using established laboratory methods and procedures.
  • Support Quality Engineers with customer complaint investigations and product issue resolution.
  • Create, maintain, and ensure compliance with quality system documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Track, trend, and analyze quality data to support key quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform in-process quality checks, application testing, and incoming raw material inspections.
  • Maintain laboratory records, filing systems, and retain sample inventories.
  • Support laboratory housekeeping, inventory management, and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, audits, and quality systems.
  • Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when necessary.
  • Moderate noise levels typical of manufacturing environments.

Nice to have

  • Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (occasional Saturday depending on business needs)
  • Conduct sampling procedures and accurately record inspection and test results.
  • Assist with Quality Notifications (QNs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and internal quality investigations.
  • Participate in root cause analysis activities using methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D, CAPA, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
  • Assist with internal quality audits and quality system compliance activities.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required
  • Previous Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or laboratory testing experience or similar experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
