Responsibilities

  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and analyses for assigned tasks
  • Prepare stormwater design plans, specifications, reports, and studies within established design guidelines and supervisor review
  • Support construction management tasks as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, GIS analysts, and drafting personnel on assigned projects
  • Coordinate information across project teams and practice groups to support overall project delivery
  • Participate in client meetings and provide responsive service that supports strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • Professional Engineer registration (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • 4+ years of related engineering experience
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design software including SWMM, CUHP, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HEC-RAS 2D
  • Experience with XP-SWMM or FLO2D
  • Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation
  • Experience leading assigned tasks and reviewing the work of others
