Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of voluntary corporate actions, including event research, election review, and post-event validation
  • Ensure the firm's portfolio accounting system is accurately updated daily with trading activity, corporate actions, and cash movements to support portfolio management, trading, and performance reporting
  • Proactively identify and execute process improvements that drive efficiency and risk reduction that create value for internal and external stakeholders
  • Leverage Excel tools, including lookup functions and pivot tables, to compare large datasets, identify reconciliation breaks, and drive timely resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 6 years equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in financial or business operations field
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and on several assignments simultaneously
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications - Word, Excel, and Outlook

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • General market knowledge on impact of corporate actions, dividend payments, interest payments and adjustments to cost basis
  • General knowledge on security characteristics and market dynamics, and how these factors impact reconciliation
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance workflows, including automation, data analysis, and improving efficiency in operational processes
  • Experience with SS&C Advent's APX accounting platform
  • Experience with FIS XSPrisa for corporate actions
  • Experience with Bloomberg Terminal
  • Familiarity with IRS cost basis requirements

Compensation

  • Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
