Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, evaluating system configurations, security settings, and operational requirements to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Support virtual desktop (VMware Horizon/Nutanix) and end-user computing (EUC) environments by handling common user requests and first-level issues.
- Provide day-to-day support for business, engineering, and enterprise applications.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, and escalate complex technical issues to senior administrators.
- Perform routine server maintenance and checks (updates, monitoring, and backups) to help keep systems reliable and compliant.
- Collaborate with the Security team to support smooth inter-departmental operations.
- Help maintain standard operating procedures and other IT documentation.
- Identify recurring operational issues and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and configuration enhancements to improve service reliability and user productivity
- Partner with security, networking, engineering, and business stakeholders to assess technical requirements and develop solutions that support organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
- To be considered for career opportunities at Scout Motors, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Support network-related tasks as required to help maintain reliable IT operations.
- 4+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with virtual desktop (VDI) or end-user computing environments is a plus.
- Some exposure to scripting or automation (such as PowerShell) is a plus.
Compensation
- This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
- Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
- The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
- Initial base salary range = $110,000.00 - $135,000.00
