About the role
- In this role you'll ensure that we can make business decisions off of timely, accurate and effective financial data.
- This means ensuring we are collecting the right data, we are booking that data accurately, reporting it effectively, and staying on top of our compliance obligations so that they do not slow us down.
- This is a full-time, remote-first role in Canada, the UK or the EU.
Responsibilities
- We buy and build companies that help people find and buy the products they love.
- You'll support with sales tax/VAT calculations, reporting and filing.
- You'll coordinate with our external tax partners to run year-end prep, corporate filings and tax optimization projects.
- People looking for active mentorship (i.e. you'd rather have someone tell you exactly what to do vs. figure it out on your own)
Requirements
- you'll embrace technology, modern tooling and AI to automate and augment as much as you can.
