Responsibilities

  • This program is specifically designed to offer hands-on experience that result in the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity as the conclusion of the training.
  • What You'll Get to Do Responsibilities Provide Tier 1 technical support (including Domain Administration, System Administration, and Network Administration).
  • Monitor and maintain the smooth operation of computer systems, applications, and the user experience.

Requirements

  • Cyber Systems Administrator: Master's Degree with 0 years of experience
  • OR a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience
  • NOTE: Four (4) years of additional relevant experience can be substituted in place of a degree.
  • TS/SCI clearance must be in place by the start date and remain in place throughout employment.
  • for Principal Cyber Systems Administrator: PhD with 1 year of experience
  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience
  • OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with on-premise environments.
  • Administration of virtualization environments using technologies such as vCenter, ESXi, and storage provisioning, including the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of virtual servers and workstations.
  • Experience with multiple Linux distributions.
  • Ability to assist end users by navigating via command line through different variations of Linux Operating Systems, including Ubuntu, Red Hat, PyPi, and CentOS.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols, ports, and layer 2/3 switch configuration.
  • Functional knowledge of networking, such as Cisco and/or VMware NSX technologies.
  • Functional knowledge of storage solutions such as NetApp and Synology.
  • Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Compensation

  • $72,100.00 - $108,100.00 Secondary Level
  • $89,400.00 - $134,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
  • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
