About the role
- The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is a licensed registered professional nurse who is a clinical expert and actively promotes the delivery of evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Has expertise in one or more specialty nursing areas and/or with specific patient populations.
- Is often a liaison between inpatient and outpatient settings.

- Collaborates effectively with team members and other disciplines.
- Develops skills for effective communications and team building.
- Implements and evaluates evidence-based nursing interventions.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
Skills
- High School Graduate
- Bachelor Degree Nursing
- 2 or more years RN experience
- Master Degree Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS)
- American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN)
- Single State
- State Board of Nursing
- Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing information from relevant sources, such as databases and benchmarks.
- Skills and duties may vary dependent upon your department or unit.
