About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design the end-to-end UX for OpenArt products-from mapping user journeys to crafting clear and engaging interactions.
  • Act as the bridge between product and design, translating user needs and product requirements into elegant flows and experiences.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and research to define the product's direction and prioritize the most impactful features.
  • Human-Centered Design - Technology should amplify creativity, not get in the way.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and designs that balance usability, creativity, and storytelling.

Skills

  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows with tools like Figma or similar.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguous product spaces, and helping bring structure and clarity.
  • A "full-stack" designer who loves UX and product thinking as much as pixel-perfect UI.
  • Someone who's equally comfortable mapping user flows as they are sketching prototypes.
  • Excited about working in a startup environment, wearing many hats, and shaping the product direction.
  • Passionate about storytelling, creativity, and AI-and curious about how new tools can empower human imagination.
  • Bay Area required (hybrid policy with 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.)
