About the role

This is a full-time, temporary position for the period of 14 months.
Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Provide timely and professional responses to purchaser inquiries via email and telephone.

Conduct scheduled consultations with purchasers to identify their goals, preferences, and requirements during each stage of the design and colour selection process.
Assist purchasers in completing interior colour and design selections, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and processed in accordance with company timelines and procedures.
Collaborate with the Design Centre Manager to address issues, seek recommendations, and review documentation.
Work cooperatively with fellow Design Centre team members to foster a professional, supportive, and collegial environment.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Previous experience in interior decorating, interior design, homebuilding, or a related industry is considered an asset.

Coordinate with trades by ensuring required documentation is completed and submitted for ordering.
One to two years of experience providing exceptional customer service and managing client interactions is required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accurate data entry skills.
Strong research skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and source information as required.
Manual dexterity is required.
Proven ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, take direction, and work collaboratively within a team environment.

The salary range shown reflects expected total annual compensation, including base pay, bonuses, and commissions.
Any such submissions become the property of Tartan Homes and are not eligible for compensation.
