About the role

  • Successful applicants will typically be compensated at a rate of $33.25/hr.
  • Placement at a higher starting salary rate within the range may be considered depending on prior comparable, directly related law enforcement or corrections experience.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age at time of application.
  • To be considered, such otherwise qualified individuals must be eligible to gain Arizona POST certification through Waiver Testing or successful completion of a basic academy.
  • All candidates must possess, or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Attention to detail: Ability to attend to physical needs and human comfort and identify when inconsistencies in protocol exist.

Compensation
