About the role

  • You will w ork directly with the senior leadership teams and will be involved in modernizing the UMB data infrastructure while increasing ROI and analytics capabilities for the entire company.
  • This role is hybrid (Mon thru Thu on-site / Fri remote) at the UMB Tech Center located in downtown Kansas City, MO.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a data management practitioner designing and implementing cloud data architecture.
  • At least 5 years of experience presenting data architecture and rationalization for change to leadership and business stakeholders.
  • In-depth experience with Snowflake and data modeling including Star Schemas.
  • Experience implementing data governance tools like Informatica CDGC, Alation or Collibra.

Nice to have

  • Experience within the banking / financial services industry.

Skills

  • This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which involves other multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership.
  • Collaborating and driving data architecture strategies across the enterprise.
  • Creating and maintaining complex conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional models.

Compensation

  • $117,900 - $173,393
  • The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and what it expects to be the starting pay for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
