  • Baker Tilly US, LLP is a licensed independent CPA firm that provides attest services to its clients.
  • Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP and its subsidiary entities provide tax and business advisory services to their clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead advisory engagements on accounting policy development, restatements, audit readiness, and financial statement preparation
  • Supervise, develop and train junior team members on engagements. Participate actively in the team's project work (i.e. "roll up your sleeves" and work with the team)
  • Interact directly with partners on matters related to client and engagement management
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities by providing outstanding client service while also expanding our footprints across other functional areas at clients.

Nice to have

  • 8+ years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit, financial advisory service line in financial services industry
  • Five (5)+ years' of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a specialized field such as accounting, business, finance or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA required, CFA or other relevant certifications a plus
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP and/or IFRS standards
  • Knowledge and ability to use appropriate tools, applications, and accounting and finance concepts to facilitate analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI and/ or Tableau is a plus.
