About the role
- Summary: The Manager of Social Video Production plays a critical role at the ASPCA, providing technical and creative expertise to the Communications department.
- This producer serves as a critical bridge between the Multimedia and Social Media teams, translating social strategy into compelling, social-first content that tells the ASPCA's story and engages our audiences.
- Equally as important as their technical abilities, the ideal candidate will be a creative powerhouse eager to apply both innovative storytelling techniques for social audiences as well as traditional forms of video engagement.
Responsibilities
- The ASPCA's Manager of Social Video Production will create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn by utilizing original footage and assets from the Multimedia team and organizational collaborators to tell stories, share information and drive social engagement.
- Robust professional development opportunities, including classes, on-the-job training, coaching and mentorship with industry-leading peers, internal mobility, opportunities to support in the field and so much more.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling techniques across social platforms.
- Proficient in operating video, lighting and audio equipment required.
- Proficiency in most components of Adobe Creative Suite (Required at least two out of the following three: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).
- Ability to manage multiple projects across teams.

- Proficient in channel management (e.g. TikTok and Youtube)
- Familiarity with tools such as CapCut and Canva.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Passion for animal welfare and alignment with ASPCA's mission.
- Ability to exemplify ASPCA's core values and behavioral competencies.

Compensation
- The target hiring range for this role is $75,000-$80,000
- Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role.
- The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and staff compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time.
- The expected hiring salary range for this role is set forth below and may be modified in the future.
