About the role
- You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and at or above profitability targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution
- Review bids, perform re-bids, and identify cost-saving or value engineering opportunities
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost codes, and financial forecasts
- Manage subcontractor bidding, selection, contracts, and performance
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and billing
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and proactively resolve issues
- Lead project kickoff, mobilization, and closeout activities
- A strong leader who can motivate teams and drive performance in the field
Requirements
- Experienced project manager with at least 5 years in commercial construction or carpentry
- Ability to walk job sites regularly and conduct inspections
Nice to have
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 10+ years of project management experience
- Hands-on field experience in commercial carpentry
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, QuickBid, or similar tools
- Prior military service
- Work Environment
- This role splits time between the office and active construction sites.
