About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and group academic support for undergraduate students in STEM disciplines, including but not limited to:

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse student population.
  • Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.

Nice to have

  • Mathematics (e.g., Calculus, Differential Equations)
  • Engineering (e.g. Statics, Dynamics, and Thermodynamics)
  • Physics (e.g. Mechanics, Electromagnetic Theory)
  • Assist students with problem-solving techniques, exam preparation, and comprehension of theoretical and practical concepts
  • Participate in periodic training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance tutoring skills
  • A master's degree in a STEM field is required and Ph.D preferred
