What you'll be responsible for: The Housekeeper I is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas while following established SOPs and cleanliness standards.
This is an entry-level role where employees learn hotel room layouts, develop cleaning skills, and contribute to the guest experience by maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Perform basic room cleaning tasks including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and coffee supplies.
Clean assigned public areas (hallways, stairwells, lobbies) following established cleaning protocols.
Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to training and SOPs.
Report shortages of supplies, damaged items, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
