About the role

  • This senior, cross-functional leadership role focuses on driving efficiency through automation and efficiencies while aligning finance functions with overall strategy.
  • This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and solid quantitative and analytical competency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and control effective integrated policies, practices, and systems for budgeting and reporting on revenues, expenditures, and adjustments to the operating and capital budgets.
  • Develop approaches to achieve efficiencies through technology and data analytics while aligning finance functions with overall strategy.

Requirements

  • The AVP brings deep financial expertise, advances data-driven decision making, and fosters a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • In addition, the AVP will work closely with the Controller's team, human resources, information technology, facilities, and all departments throughout the college as required to support the VP of Finance.
  • Participate in the preparation and presentation of executive-level presentations and financial reports as required.
  • Manage specific projects for the VP of Finance as required.

Compensation

  • $196,750.00 - $255,700.00 annually, commensurate with experience.
