About the role
- The Senior Land Development Manager is a strategic leader responsible for leading all land development activities including planning, scheduling, contracting, budgeting and execution.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strict adherence to budgets and schedules.
- Work with trades and design teams to provide customer value at the best negotiated cost.
- Lead and develop the experienced land development team.
- Develop a broad trade base of trusted horizontal contractors.
- Build relationships.
- Plan, manage and execute land development field activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with peers in Real Estate, Construction, trades, and local authorities.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design, contract and execute.
- Collaborate with permitting, construction and trade partner teams to coordinate the collective Homebuilding schedules.
- Prepare and manage budgets for projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development or Construction Management.
- High School degree for those with extended relevant experience.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in land development, homebuilding construction, or a related field.

- The Role The Senior Land Development Manager is a strategic leader responsible for leading all land development activities including planning, scheduling, contracting, budgeting and execution.
- This role requires a strong understanding and experience of land development, ideally with the added complexity of managing development under a scattered homesite strategy.
- The position requires knowledge and adherence to both budgets and schedules.
- The position requires an ability to flex from office and field seamlessly.
- The Land Development Senior Manager will work closely with peers in the Real Estate Department and senior management, as the representative for the land development function.
