- Registered Respiratory Therapist ( RRT ) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care ( NBRC ) required
- Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation ( NRP ) certification preferred
- Graduate with an Associate's Degree in an approved respiratory program from an accredited college or university required (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
