Responsibilities

  • Lead large projects from initial inception to production
  • Unblock and support your team of peers including engineers, designers, product managers, and business operators
  • Build a best in class developer experience for Merge's dashboard, docs, APIs and SDKs
  • An ability to perform in a fast paced environment and deal with ambiguity

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have:

Nice to have

  • 3-7+ years of full-time software engineering experience (*open to multiple levels of seniority)
  • Experience with frameworks (Django, Rails, Spring, React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres preferred)
  • Startup or SaaS experience preferred
  • Experience with design systems, modern styling, and frontend testing practices a plus

  • Merge's enterprise-grade platform handles the entire integration lifecycle, from authentication and security to monitoring and maintenance.

Compensation

  • The cash compensation range for this role is $170,000 - $220,000
  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and certifications.
  • In addition to cash compensation, all full time employees receive an equity compensation package
  • Annual company offsites and quarterly team events. Past locations have included: Nashville, Sonoma, and the Hudson Valley
