Responsibilities

  • Lead the Outbound Department with consistency and effectiveness, driving your team to meet and exceed current shipping goals.
  • Maintain exemplary attendance, promptly respond to special operations requests, and support overtime as needed.
  • Support the development of team members through coaching and various training initiatives, displaying consistency, fairness, and recognition for outstanding work or ideas.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of shipping issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the shipping process.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and personnel activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • A readiness to embrace and drive change as a change advocate.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in distribution or warehouse environments.
  • Proficiency with WMS or similar distribution software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the methods and procedures used across various distribution center functions.
  • Stellar interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train others effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands.
  • Any information provided will be kept confidentially other than as required to make the necessary WOTC disclosures and in accordance with applicable laws.

Nice to have

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with some college coursework preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus.
