About the role
- Designer who is a strong conceptual visual storyteller.
- Please note, this role will be based in the Toronto area, with expectation of three days a week of in-office work.
- This is a 1 year fixed term position covering a parental leave.
Responsibilities
- You will act as both curator and creator of visually interesting design for a world-class company, which includes representation of the biggest names from across the globe.
- Execute visually appealing and compelling design requests to support the needs of the company, primarily static assets for social media channels on Instagram, X, and LinkedIn. Ensure assets are optimized for each platform.
- Digital, print, and experiential design
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
- Manage your time in a smart and efficient manner, clearly communicating with your manager ensuring everyone is on the same page at all touch points of the project
- Develop strong, high-level design systems and brand identities that can work across various mediums, from collateral to digital
- Efficiently combine creativity, graphic design, functionality and technology to create impactful and eye-catching visual communications
Requirements
- 3- 6 years experience
- Has the ability to work closely with the production team in pre-production, content creation, preparation, and roll-out of final art files
- Ability to maneuver through tight turnarounds through sound multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Compensation
- The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
- Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc.
- Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each role.
Benefits
- $75-90k CAD, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
