About the role

  • Oversight of annual budgets for local and on-campus Federal Work Study programs.
  • Provides input on the initial annual allocation and redistribution of Federal Work Study funds.
  • Assists in advising students in meeting learning office outcomes, evaluating academic progress appeals and participating in the loan recertification process.

Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties/supporting functions as needed and assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
  • Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
  • Any one or combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the categories below:
  • 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
  • 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
  • One (1) year (12 months) of higher education, student services, or closely related experience.

Compensation

  • Supervises two civil service employees, as well as assume responsibility for training, assigning work and conducting annual performance reviews.
