About the role
- The successful candidates are expected to teach in one or more of our nursing programs depending on program needs.
- Successful candidates are expected to provide teaching instructions in a classroom, online, and/or lab/simulation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse in a specialty area.
- Teaching experience in adult and graduate programs and online instruction is desired.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, methods of teaching, and evaluation are desired.
- The CN programs include BSN, second-degree accelerated MSN (MIDAS), and online MSN, FNP, PMHNO, AGPCNP, and DNP programs.
- obstetric nursing, pre-licensure second-degree accelerated MSN clinical nurse leader track (CNL), MSN core, and fundamentals.
- Candidates with expertise in more than one specialty area are highly desirable.
- Candidates will teach in our in-person MSN Direct Entry as Seond Degree (MIDAS) program, and may teach in the BSN and/or MSN programs depending on the college's needs.
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio or be eligible to be licensed and practice in Ohio.
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.
