Job Description: The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for leading and overseeing all medical services across Valle del Sol health centers, including primary care, psychiatric, behavioral health, and opioid treatment services.
This executive position balances clinical care (20-40% of time) with strategic leadership duties (60-80%), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered, and integrated healthcare.

Maintain an active caseload while modeling team-based, integrated, and culturally competent care.
Facilitate peer review processes and develop action plans for quality assurance improvements.
Oversee all credentialing and privileging activities to maintain high standards of provider competency.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess or obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card (if required for the role).
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass pre- and continued employment screenings successfully.

7 years of recent experience in a primary care practice, teamed with physicians and advanced practice providers, serving multigenerational and multicultural patients.
TB Screening Record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest x-ray upon hire (as applicable).

Medical Leadership & Oversight (60-80%) Supervise and support medical providers, including Medical Directors, FNPs, PMHNPs, and physicians across programs.
Lead or co-lead development of medical policies, protocols, and workflows that support evidence-based care and operational excellence.
