About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assess symptoms, develop and adjust treatment plans, including prescribing and managing medications such as hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and non-hormonal Rx, when clinically appropriate and legally permitted
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation

  • We handle credentialing, billing, clinical supervision, and administrative support for visits conducted through Pomelo
  • We provide patient matching and scheduling support based on your availability, licensure, credentialing status, patient demand, and applicable payer or clinical requirements
  • You'll have access to administrative and technical support to navigate Pomelo's systems, as well as documentation support for visits conducted through Pomelo

Requirements

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of menopause care experience, including prescribing and managing hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and non-hormonal Rx
  • You have strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently during patient visits

Compensation

  • Providers are compensated on a per-visit basis.
  • Rates may vary by visit type, visit length, visit timing, payer requirements, and other program factors.
  • Pomelo does not guarantee a minimum number of visits or earnings.
  • Based on current visit rates and typical visit lengths, completed visits may result in approximate earnings equivalent to $100.00 to $120.00 per active visit hour.

  • This is a 1099 independent contractor role and is not an employment (W-2) position. As an independent contractor, you will not be eligible for employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, paid time off, workers' compensation, or unemployment benefits. Pomelo Care will provide services to support your independent practice, such as client matching, billing and administrative support.

  • Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for visits conducted through Pomelo
  • To join Pomelo's growing network, you are/have:
  • You have an active APP license (CNM, WHNP, or NP) in Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, Washington, or Pennsylvania where you will see patients
  • You're comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems
