About the role
- The Patient Access Coordinator makes patient appointments and reminder calls.
- Greets and registers and checks in or out all patients.
- Verifies demographic and insurance coverage information and enters into appropriate system/patient record.
Responsibilities
- Also provides clerical/secretarial support to the office as needed by typing correspondence and reports, sorting and delivering mail, processing incoming and outgoing faxes and ordering and maintaining supplies.
