Responsibilities
- Lead, Manage and be Accountable for their direct reports.
- Assist with supervision of the total construction effort to ensure project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives and subcontractors.
- Generate and maintain a loaded schedule using P6, develop meeting minutes and create agenda for weekly client and company meetings.
- Work directly with Project Superintendent to maintain costing for the overall project.
- Track and maintain all documents associated with recycling, transportation, and disposal.
- Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.
- Under the direction of the Division Lead, manage each project assigned according to Forgen corporate philosophy of safe, quality production while securing the most favorable economic outcome for Forgen.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Candidates should have a minimum of five to ten years of applicable experience in the construction industry or
- In lieu of a degree, candidates must possess equivalent applicable experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of eight years of experience required.
- strong understanding of subordinate roles and responsibilities.
- Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete project.
- Supervise employees and other subcontractors as required by the contract.
- Provide technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc. as required.
Nice to have
- Past experience in a construction environment which demands outstanding safety performance a plus.
- The following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Company will provide additional training, as necessary.
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER training.
- Competent Person Safety Training
- 8-Hour OSHA Refresher Training
- 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training
- First Aid and CPR
