Responsibilities

  • Lead, Manage and be Accountable for their direct reports.
  • Assist with supervision of the total construction effort to ensure project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives and subcontractors.
  • Generate and maintain a loaded schedule using P6, develop meeting minutes and create agenda for weekly client and company meetings.
  • Work directly with Project Superintendent to maintain costing for the overall project.
  • Track and maintain all documents associated with recycling, transportation, and disposal.
  • Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.
  • Under the direction of the Division Lead, manage each project assigned according to Forgen corporate philosophy of safe, quality production while securing the most favorable economic outcome for Forgen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of five to ten years of applicable experience in the construction industry or
  • In lieu of a degree, candidates must possess equivalent applicable experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of eight years of experience required.
  • strong understanding of subordinate roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete project.
  • Supervise employees and other subcontractors as required by the contract.
  • Provide technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc. as required.

Nice to have

  • Past experience in a construction environment which demands outstanding safety performance a plus.
  • The following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Company will provide additional training, as necessary.
  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER training.
  • Competent Person Safety Training
  • 8-Hour OSHA Refresher Training
  • 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training
  • First Aid and CPR
