About the role
- Identify market opportunities, operational pain points, and emerging FinTech trends to influence product direction.
- Participate in competitive analysis and product innovation initiatives.
- Define MVP scope and iterative product release strategies.
Responsibilities
- This role bridges product strategy, business analysis, workflow design, and technical expertise to drive successful product development from concept through implementation.
- This includes defining acceptance criteria for computed outputs, developing and validating golden datasets, establishing reconciliation and tie-out testing against source systems, setting appropriate tolerance thresholds, and ensuring full auditability and traceability of calculated figures.
- Product Strategy & Ideation Drive new software product development initiatives aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
- Core collaboration hours are 10 AM - 3 PM; manage your full schedule around that.
- Domain-Level Feature Definition Development Acceptance Criteria Process workflows Functional specifications Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and clearly understood.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release planning.
- Workflow & Process Design Design and document end-to-end user workflows and operational processes such as accreditation verification, KYC /OFAC screening, subscription documents, and e-sign flows.
- Partner with UI/UX engineers and designers to create intuitive, compliant, and scalable user experiences.
- Develop workflow diagrams and product documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to define product success metrics and KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, business analysis, or software delivery roles.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development environments.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with workflow diagram tools such as Miro or Sensus Process Management Experience in FinTech, banking, payments, lending, treasury, financial operations, or SaaS platforms.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with distributed engineering teams.
- The ideal candidate has experience operating in regulated financial environments and can translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear, testable product specifications.
- Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
