About the role
- The Registered Nurse - ASC OR/ARD is responsible for professional nursing care of the surgical or endoscopic patient and to achieve total patient centered care through use of the nursing process.
- ADMISSION - Greet patient and instruct in changing into appropriate attire.
- Provide pre-operative teaching to patients and significant others.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre-operative assessment, document on appropriate chart forms and administer pre-op orders (i.e. medications, IV's).
Compensation
- Annual competencies for specific working area must be completed within designated month.
