About the role
- This role shapes technical direction for scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions and applies deep engineering expertise to address complex technical challenges and improve software quality and performance.
- The role influences technical outcomes and contributes to the delivery of high-quality software for critical healthcare applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex software issues through debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to address critical issues and optimize system performance.
- Establish and enforce best practices for software development, code reviews, testing, and deployment to support high standards of software quality.
- Partner with product management, UX/UI designers, quality assurance, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, including significant experience in a lead or principal engineering role.
- Proven expertise in designing and building large-scale, distributed, and highly available software systems.
- Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, influence technical direction, and mentor other engineers effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, or Go, and relevant frameworks.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation
- We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $196,000.00-$294,000.00 Annual.
