Responsibilities
- As your traffic control partner, we safeguard your people, your business, and your time.
- We deliver comprehensive traffic management services, supporting utility, broadband, and infrastructure work in communities across the country.
- We also provide consultation and traffic design services, as well as traffic control equipment.
- Perform traffic control and flagging activities as needed.
- Implement and field adjust Traffic Control Plans.
- Maintain a safe work area on highways, municipal roads, rights-of-way, and rural roads.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This apprenticeship is designed to prepare employees for future career growth within AWP.
- AWP considers any position that requires the individual to drive an AWP vehicle and/or be present at an AWP worksite for any reason a safety sensitive position.

Requirements
- You enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions, uphold best safety practices and possess a current driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions when required and necessary.
Compensation
- Apprentices who successfully complete all program requirements and meet applicable performance and business needs may be considered for promotion opportunities with potential annual earnings of up to approximately $35.00/hr
