Responsibilities

  • Raise the bar for design execution across the organization by championing strong craft, thoughtful interaction design, and scalable visual systems.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Analytics to define holistic, user-centered strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Translate ambiguous product challenges into clear, elegant, and accessible design solutions.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, clear design strategy, and excellent craft across complex digital experiences.
  • Experience working with and evolving design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
  • You will play a key role in shaping the quality and direction of design within the Chime app-advocating for thoughtful, member-centered solutions and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful impact.
  • Elevate design quality at scale: Raise the bar for design execution across the organization by championing strong craft, thoughtful interaction design, and scalable visual systems.
  • Drive cross-functional strategy: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Analytics to define holistic, user-centered strategies that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Lead through influence: Provide design leadership and mentorship across teams, guiding projects and elevating the work of others without formal people management.

Compensation

  • The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $202,000 and up to $280,000.
  • The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
