Responsibilities
- Load samples onto analytical instruments and support routine analytical operations.
- Maintain active communication with supervisor, extraction team, analytical team and project managers about job status, rush ETA, sample matrix issues, holding time etc.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
- Wash and maintain laboratory glassware, equipment, and supplies.
- Perform quality control activities, including balance calibration, pipette verification, and log book documentation.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory standards, consumables, and instrument supplies.
- Support laboratory safety programs and conduct routine safety inspections.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to meet turnaround times and project priorities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior laboratory experience is helpful but not required.
- Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- The ideal candidate would possess
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow written procedures.
- Basic mathematical, computer proficiency, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- The candidate must be able to work Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 6:00PM for the initial training and then transition to one of the following shifts:
Nice to have
- Coursework or experience in chemistry, environmental science, biology, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a fast paced, production. food service or retail type environment preferred

- $18k-$22k
