About the role
- Our world-class technology empowers restaurants to focus on what matters most - their team, their guests, and their bottom line - while enabling diners to discover and book the perfect restaurant for every occasion.
- We're a small, distributed team based in Toronto and Lithuania.
- Your remit will be to help evolve our stack to better suit the changing needs of our marketing team and leverage AI to move faster.
Requirements
- 5+ years or software engineering experience, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience with WordPress or equivalent CMS
- Strong experience with modern frontend technologies
- Experience working across frontend and backend systems, APIs, and integrations
- Experience designing reusable components and maintainable systems for content-rich digital experiences
- The ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, improve existing systems pragmatically, and take ownership from discovery through delivery
- Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience operating WordPress, PHP, and Apache in a production environment
- Experience with Akamai or another enterprise CDN and edge platform
- Experience evaluating or delivering CMS migrations and platform-modernization initiatives
- Experience using no-code or low-code solutions at enterprise scale, including their governance and operational trade-offs
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows and structured content
- Understanding of SEO, generative engine optimization, accessibility, and web performance
