About the role

The Assembler I will assemble, inspect, test and package finished product in one or more assigned work centers.
Additionally, the position will inspect to verify quality of the item (finish, scratch marks and dings); and complete paperwork for replacements parts and to close work orders.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED is required
Performs other duties as required.
This position requires the ability to continuously lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

Nice to have

6 months relevant work experience preferred.

Skills

Ability to learn to read basic blueprint or work instructions
Ability to follow pre-established processes and procedures
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to use small hand tools (screw drivers, wrenches, hammers)
Ability to communicate with others
Ability to learn different processes and procedures in short period of time
Ability to differentiate among colors used in visual inspection
Exposure to smart tablet required
English (reading, writing, verbal)
Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply)
Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holiday hours.
Ability to legally work without sponsorship for employment visa status.
