Responsibilities
- Oversight and guidance of the design team in their day-to-day work, including providing technical guidance, team leadership, workload management, quality control, and contribution to design efforts as needed.
- Leading project and design update meetings, including delivering presentations.
- Strong knowledge of the various New York City and New York state building codes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience within an engineering team.
- Ability to think critically and assess each project, including staff allocation, independently with only high-level guidance from senior leadership.
Nice to have
- 10+ years' experience working in a consulting engineering firm for various projects.
- Buildings experience in NYC is required
- a background in the transit and/or public sector is strongly preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York is required, LEED accreditation is preferred.
- Latest AutoCAD experience required, REVIT experience a plus.
Compensation
- $170,000 - $195,000 USD
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program. #LI-Onsite
