Responsibilities
- As a Park Custodian, you will perform various tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment in County Parks.
Requirements
- Protective Equipment Required
- Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
Skills
- Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software, and Hardware
- Microsoft Office, including Outlook email, general landscaping tools, power washers, and power scrubbers.
Compensation
- $17.50 - $26.25 hourly
- Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.
- The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

- Successful candidates must currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire.
- Job Contributions
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of park facilities, and use appropriate cleaning supplies/chemicals while wearing proper personal protective equipment
- Collect trash, rake leaves, weed, and prune small trees and shrubs
- Inspect assigned work areas, including analyzing field problems and developing proactive solutions. Make recommendations for purchases to management
- Safely operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs to custodial equipment
