About the role

  • This is not an entry-level position.
  • We are looking for a seasoned wastewater professional who can confidently operate, troubleshoot, and optimize municipal wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems while providing leadership and technical guidance to less experienced operators.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems
  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs
  • Support on-call operations rotation
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior operators
  • Support SCADA monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Professional development and certification support

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive wastewater operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of wastewater regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with process monitoring and reporting
  • Ability to work independently

Nice to have

  • Wastewater Level II, III, or IV certification
  • Collection System Licence
  • supervisory experience
  • SCADA experience.
  • Strongly Preferred: Wastewater Level II, III, or IV certification
