About the role

West Monroe is seeking a Managing Director / Partner to join our Energy & Utilities Practice, aligned to the West Coast. This leader will play a critical role in growing our national Energy & Utilities business by leveraging existing and developing new executive client relationships, originating and delivering transformation al programs, and helping shape
the future of the industry. The ideal candidate brings deep utility industry expertise, a strong network across the West Coast market, and a passion for building teams, developing talent, and driving meaningful client outcomes in an entrepreneurial consulting environment.

Lead large-scale business and technology transformation engagements focused on utility modernization initiatives, including and to limited to AMI, ADMS, FAN, Distribution Automation, DER, CIS, ERP, EAM, and related platforms.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.
Cultivate and expand executive relationships with utility clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
Generate and lead new business opportunities, managing the full sales lifecycle.
Develop strategic account plans that drive long-term value creation for clients and recurring revenue opportunities.
Partner with leaders across West Monroe to identify cross-functional opportunities and bring the firm's full capabilities to clients.
Lead the development of methodologies, offerings, thought leadership, and reusable assets that strengthen client delivery and market differentiation.
Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop consultants and future leaders across the practice.
Proven success developing executive-level client relationships, originating new business, and growing strategic accounts.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
12+ years of experience within the Energy & Utilities industry, including significant experience leading large-scale utility modernization initiatives.

Help define and execute the strategic vision for the national Energy & Utilities Practice aligned to the firms' goals.
