About the role

This leader will play a critical role in growing our national Energy & Utilities business by leveraging existing and developing new executive client relationships, originating and delivering transformation al programs, and helping shape
  • the future of the industry. The ideal candidate brings deep utility industry expertise, a strong network across the West Coast market, and a passion for building teams, developing talent, and driving meaningful client outcomes in an entrepreneurial consulting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale business and technology transformation engagements focused on utility modernization initiatives, including and to limited to AMI, ADMS, FAN, Distribution Automation, DER, CIS, ERP, EAM, and related platforms.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.
  • Cultivate and expand executive relationships with utility clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Generate and lead new business opportunities, managing the full sales lifecycle.
  • Develop strategic account plans that drive long-term value creation for clients and recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with leaders across West Monroe to identify cross-functional opportunities and bring the firm's full capabilities to clients.
  • Lead the development of methodologies, offerings, thought leadership, and reusable assets that strengthen client delivery and market differentiation.
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop consultants and future leaders across the practice.
  • Proven success developing executive-level client relationships, originating new business, and growing strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience within the Energy & Utilities industry, including significant experience leading large-scale utility modernization initiatives.
