  • Tsugami America is seeking an Entry-Level Field Service Technician to join our growing service team.
  • This role is ideal for recent technical school graduates, early-career technicians, or individuals with hands-on mechanical or electrical aptitude who want to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Are you mechanically inclined, curious about advanced manufacturing technology, and eager to build a long-term technical career?
  • As a Field Service Technician, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of Tsugami CNC machine tool equipment at customer facilities throughout New England.
  • MGI is a privately held company that owns and operates eighteen divisions that supply high precision machine tools and related technology to manufacturers throughout North America.

  • Employees in these roles may also be expected to: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while servicing equipment.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including accessing equipment interiors and elevated areas.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills required for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform related duties as required.
