About the role

- Base Salary Range $70,000 - $150,000 USD
Responsibilities
- Build and test prototypes, sub-assemblies, and feasibility units under engineering guidance.
- Interpret schematics, diagrams, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, troubleshooting, and rework of PCBAs and harnesses.
- Operate and set up standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, supplies, DMMs) and perform PCBA/cable rework to IPC standards.
- This role will involve working hands-on with aerial, ground, and integrated hardware systems-building prototypes, fabricating test setups, and supporting manufacturing workflows.
- You'll collaborate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, and Firmware Engineers to accelerate prototyping, improve reliability, and lay the foundation for scalable production.
Nice to have
- 3+ years' experience as an engineering technician in a prototype or development lab.
- Strong ability to read/interpret PCBA schematics, cable drawings, and test procedures independently.
- Experience with prototype electro-mechanical hardware (PCBAs, cables, harnesses, robotic/vehicle systems).
- Hands-on skills: soldering, crimping, rework, cable assembly to IPC standards
