Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities across a diverse portfolio, including services, maintenance, repairs, chemicals, electronics, machined parts, semiconductors, and hardware built to government and company specifications
- Support continuous improvement of procurement and compliance‑related policies, forms, and training materials
- Perform all work with a strong focus on ethics, compliance, and safe work practices
- In this temporary Buyer role, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support mission‑critical programs in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment.
Requirements
- Procurement and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. required
- Experience working in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment with minimal supervision. required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Buyer role. required
- High School Diploma or GED. required
- U.S. citizenship is required due to access restrictions.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree - preferred
- Procurement or supply chain professional development courses - preferred
