Requirements

  • What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Skills

  • A safe work history and mindset
  • Comfort in climbing towers up to 400 feet in height (though generally less than 200 ft)
  • Computer skills
  • Communications skills (written and oral)
  • 3 plus years experience in tower field required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current or recent tower climb and rescue credentials
  • Theodolites/total station operating experience
  • Guy tensioning experience

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $15.68 - $71.30

Company info

  • Conducting structural condition assessments of tower systems, including foundation, structural steel members and connection plates/bolts, appurtenances such as microwave dishes and communications antennas., cables, junction boxes, etc., grounding and lightning protection systems
  • Adjusting tower guy cable tension and realigning towers as necessary
  • Completing checklists and documenting conditions using photographical evidence
  • Meeting with local tower ownership, clients, and landowners
  • Debriefing customers and management on findings
  • Consulting with management and engineers to assist in recommended corrective actions for tower condition improvement
  • This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
