About the role

Our client, a leading global specialty chemicals company, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to assist its executives in hiring an attorney to serve as Senior Legal Counsel.
This role will report to the Vice President, HSE Policy and Deputy General Counsel.
The role is based in the Company's U.S. headquarters just outside of Philadelphia.

Advising the company's Integrated Supply Chain stakeholders, including Procurement, Operations, Real Estate and/or Human Resources on a variety of legal matters, including legal risk management, contract structure, dispute avoidance, and litigation support, including coordination with outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
Conduct and support internal compliance investigations and advise on remedial actions.
Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements and other legal documents (including sales and purchase contracts and distribution agreements).

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with a variety of corporate and commercial agreements and transactions.

5+ years relevant working experience, with strong training at a top-rated national or international law firm.
Prior in-house experience strongly preferred.
Experience in supporting M&A transactions, including due diligence reviews and integration planning/implementation is a plus.
Solid dispute resolution experience and solid command of antitrust principles is a plus.
