Responsibilities
- Lead daily end-to-end multi-country payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and right-first-time delivery; ensuring achievement of set goals.
- Support People Cost Budget preparation and monthly updates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation to ensure operational continuity and consistent delivery of high-quality services.
- Identify process inefficiencies and root causes, develop corrective action plans, and track implementation through resolution.
- Manage payroll-related escalations with an appropriate sense of urgency and customer focus.
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 employees, setting clear goals, performance expectations, and workload priorities aligned with business objectives.
- Direct, coach, develop and motivate team members; fostering accountability, engagement, collaboration, and capability growth.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and achieve organizational goals.
- Your key responsibility in this role is to lead end-to-end payroll operations across multiple markets, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery while driving continuous improvement, strong controls, and a high-performing team culture.
- The role balances operational excellence, strategic execution, and people leadership to deliver reliable payroll services at scale.

- Previous experience in budget preparation processes.

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 Years of progressive experience, with at least 2 years of experience managing people and operations.
- Intermediate knowledge of Accounting/Finance, understanding the impacts of payroll elements into both balance sheet and P&L.
- Fluent English & Spanish; additional languages (French, Italian, Portuguese) are a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
- Proficiency in SAP for reporting, financial review, and journal entries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Previous experience in Payroll or Accounting / previous experience in shared services environment.
- Preferred: Previous experience in budget preparation processes.
- Preferred: Previous experience with Workday.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling sensitive payroll data.
