About the role
- Night (United States of America) Registered Nurse- Adult Psychiatry (Charge) The Charge Nurse provides supervision and leadership to assigned nursing care unit for the shift worked.
- Are accountable for all the nursing activities in assigned area which includes, but is not limited to, the effective delivery of safe, competent, compassionate and efficient care.
- This position requires the ensuring that care is provided in a multidisciplinary approach.
Requirements
- One (1) year of previous charge experience required.
- Specialty certification required per department (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.)
- Experience with the Meditech program preferred.
- Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel required.
